Housing & Rent that’s Affordable
Housing and rent in Baltimore County has become too expensive. No one should be forced to choose between living paycheck to paycheck and living in the neighborhoods we call home. Ruben will fight for affordable housing and rent so young people can build a future here, families don’t have to worry about bills, and our seniors can retire with dignity.
Putting our Communities First
Residents living on the west side of the county shouldn’t have to drive to Carroll or Howard counties to access quality grocery stores, pharmacies, or shops. We can and must reimagine what living in Reisterstown, Randallstown, Academy Heights, and Woodlawn looks like by investing in mixed-use development that meets the needs and wants of our neighbors. Whether it’s access to necessities like food and medicine or things to do on the weekend, such as sit-down restaurants and going to the movies, our residents deserve better.
Improving Quality of Life
Potholes, trash pickup, and snow removal are some of the basic services that no one should have to beg for them to work. County residents deserve their tax dollars to deliver reliable, high quality services, so they can focus on what matters instead of wondering if their street will ever be repaved or if a call to the county will go nowhere.
